Cookies and preferences
Understand sign-in cookies, available choices and the difference between a Mailie account and an email audience.
Website, portal and application
This page describes the cookies and preference paths used by Mailie’s current website, customer portal and sign-in application. It concerns visitors and account holders. The data used by an organisation to send emails to its audience is a separate subject.
Mailie currently integrates no advertising or audience-analytics module into these website pages. Technical hosting logs are a separate matter; this does not mean that browsing or signing in involves no data.
Cookies used for sign-in
When you request access to your account, technical cookies link the sign-in steps and maintain the requested session. They are not advertising preferences.
| Area / cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
mailie.io__Host-mailie_client_pkce | Secure the return from central sign-in. | Up to 2 minutes; removed at the callback. |
mailie.io__Host-mailie_client | Maintain customer-portal access. | Up to 15 minutes; removed when leaving the portal session. |
mailie.appmailie.session_tokenmailie.dont_remember | Maintain and protect the requested account session. Secure prefixes may be added. | Browser-session cookies for the current sign-in form. Server expiry and session revocation also apply. |
mailie.appmailie.two_factor | Link the pending two-factor sign-in step. | Up to 10 minutes for this step. |
Portal cookies are configured Secure and HttpOnly. Their values are not displayed here. Your browser may also receive technical cookies from infrastructure or a service you choose to open; that service’s information applies to them.
Your available choices
This page does not simulate an advertising-consent preference: no optional advertising or audience-analytics module is integrated into the current website pages. Authentication cookies support the account service you request. The CNIL distinguishes necessary cookies from uses requiring prior consent.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so can interrupt sign-in or require you to sign in again. Use the portal’s sign-out action to end its session. In the application, account settings let you review your sessions and security preferences.
Open account settingsAccount data and recipient data
Your Mailie account has sign-in, profile and, where applicable, billing information. Preferences for product notifications or marketing communications are distinct from cookies and from a sender’s contact database. They are managed through the authenticated account paths.
If you receive an email from an organisation using Mailie, its sending purpose and your audience preferences concern that organisation. Consult the recipient-privacy guide and the sender’s own information. This cookies page is not a complete privacy policy for every account or audience processing operation.
Storage within a browser tab
The application may keep the identifier of a campaign-test receipt in the tab’s session storage so that its result can be found again. This is distinct from advertising tracking and does not store the message content or an access key. The legal-centre search and filters run in the page without sending your search terms to a server or saving them.
Questions and updates
For a question about these uses or your Mailie account, use the contact details in the legal notice. External payment or provider pages have their own cookie practices.
The information here reflects the current paths. A new optional purpose would require information and the appropriate controls before it is used.
